Founded in 2004 by lifelong truck enthusiast Chuck Carlson, our journey began in a modest shop at 3rd and Broadway Street in Quincy, IL. Chuck’s passion for customization and quality quickly earned the trust of local drivers, and as demand grew, so did we. In 2015, we built our current location on the opposite end of town to better serve our growing community.

Today, Chuck has passed the torch to his son, Shane DeFraia, who shares the same deep-rooted love for trucks and automotive excellence. Under Shane’s leadership, ALPHA Accessories continues to evolve while staying true to the values that built our reputation: experience, integrity, and exceptional customer service.

Our Story

ALPHA Accessories is Quincy, Illinois’ trusted destination for professional truck customization, automotive protection, and high-quality accessories. Founded in 2004 by lifelong truck enthusiast Chuck Carlson, the business began as a small shop at 3rd and Broadway Street, built on a passion for trucks and a commitment to doing things right. As demand quickly grew, ALPHA Accessories outgrew its original space and, in 2015, moved into a newly built, state-of-the-art facility on the opposite end of town—conveniently located in front of Sam’s Club to better serve customers throughout Quincy and the Tri-State area.

Today, the business is proudly led by Chuck’s son, Shane DeFraia, who carries on the family tradition with the same enthusiasm and dedication to the automotive industry. As a fellow truck and automotive enthusiast, Shane brings fresh energy, modern expertise, and a forward-thinking approach while maintaining the core values that built the company’s reputation—experience, integrity, and exceptional customer service.
